The objective of this MicroMaster is to introduce students to machine learning and deep learning methods for leveraging data to solve a wide range of practical and research problems in the field of artificial intelligence. The analysis of various types of data—including textual data (natural language processing) and visual data (computer vision)—will be covered, and students will become familiar with a variety of tools for these purposes.

Engineering enthusiasts who have basic knowledge of programming in Python and wish to explore artificial intelligence and machine learning for the purpose of applied research and problem-solving.
